CONFERENCE VENUE
National dendrological park “Sofiyivka”
The conference site is situated in Uman, a settlement in the center of Ukraine. Uman is the old city with very stormy history. The visiting card of city is the park “Sofiyivka”. Also, Uman has a set of the architectural construction dated XVII-XVIII.

FORMAL INVITATIONS
Participants who need a hard-copy of formal invitation letter from the conference organizers for visa application or other needs should inform us as soon as possible.

REGISTRATION FEE
Registration fee - 230 EUR (included: welcome party, lunches, dinners, coffee breaks, Conference Dinner, proceedings, guided tours, concerts).
Student fee - 120 EUR.
Accompanying Persons - 150 EUR (included: welcome party, meals, coffee breaks, Conference Dinner, guided tours, special cultural program).

MEALS
We ask to inform us about your special requests (diet etc.).

PRESENTATION
You can present your results in one of the following formats:

• Plenary lecture -PL (45 min.)
• Oral presentation -OP (20 min.)
• Poster -PP

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Abstract (together with indicated preferable type of presentation - PL, OP or PP) should be sent not later than April 1, 2007 by e-mail to the conference secretariat: diftrans@cdu.edu.ua.
Abstract should be in Word format, maximum length - up to 2 pages A5, with 10 pt Times New Roman letter, and 2 cm margins. The header has to contain the title, the authors, and the workplace of the authors.
More detailed instructions for the preparation of abstracts and an abstract template are available on the web-site.

POSTER
The poster competition will be organized. The best posters will be awarded.

LANGUAGE
The workshop languages are English and Russian. If possible, English should be preferred. At least, the presentations (Power Point etc.) should be written in English. Summaries of the content in the respective alternative language will be given as far as necessary.

ELECTRONIC VERSION OF PRESENTATION
We are planning to prepare a DVD-disk with electronic versions of all types of presentations (by authority of authors) and to distribute it among the participants during the conference. Please, inform us about your agreement/disagreement to distribute e-version of your presentation. In case of affirmative reply we ask to give the file during the registration.

ACCOMMODATION
Please, find an information about possibilities of accommodation on the conference web-site and submit your requests not later then 15 March 2007 by e-mail.

According to proposal of co-organizers from Uman State Pedagogical University, one more item is added to the list of topics: "Theoretical aspects of deformation and fracture". Round table on this topic will be organized.
